Regular Season Round 35: Wonju DB - Seoul Knights 65-66

The most exciting game of round 35 in the KBL took place in Wonju. This derby game ended with only one-point home defeat of 3rd placed Wonju DB (25-14) to fourth ranked Knights (24-15) 66-65 on Sunday evening. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Wonju DB. American center Jameel Warney (203-1994, college: Stony Brook) saved the victory with a double-double by scoring 21 points, 12 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 blocks. Filipino forward Arvin Tolentino (195-1995) contributed with 25 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. American center Henry Ellenson (208-1997, college: Marquette) answered with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 12 rebounds and the other American import guard Ethan Alvano (185-1996, college: CSUSM) added 20 points in the effort for Wonju DB. Wonju DB's coach Sang-Bum Lee rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Knights have a solid series of four victories in a row. Seoul Knights maintains fourth place with 24-15 record. Wonju DB at the other side dropped to the second position with 14 games lost. They share it with Anyang. Seoul Knights are looking forward to face Sono SG (#7) in Daegu in the next round. Wonju DB will have a break next round.
